A nighttime doula is a postpartum professional who provides in-home sleep conditioning support for new parents and their babies at night. Doulas can help with overnight care including feedings, diaper changes, and comforting the baby. Your Los Angeles overnight Doula AKA “night nurse”, and Newborn Care Specialist, can also provide emotional support and help new parents adjust to their new routine in.
Your nighttime doula Sophie Fahnenstich is also a newborn care specialist in Los Angeles. Sophie will schedule a virtual call to discuss the schedule, the ideal sleep setup, and sleep swaddles or sleep sacks. A plan will be made during this virtual conversation about how the night will look upon the Postpartum Night Doula/Newborn Care Specialist’s arrival so all expectations will be set beforehand. Upon starting the overnight shift, your nighttime doula will take over care of your little one so you can rest knowing they are in excellent hands.
